• The removable floating top measures approximately 2 1/4 in. in diameter and when assembled to the thermometer, holds the body upright in the water
• For hanging, remove the mildew-resistant cord from the floating top and attach to the top of the thermometer body, and for floating attach the floating top to the thermometer by aligning the guides on the inside of the top with the corresponding guides on the side of the top – snap to fit
• Features an alcohol-based indicator – no mercury: Before use and to maintain proper submergibility, hold the thermometer at an angle underwater to fill the body with water…watch for bubbles which will indicate the body is being filled with water
